Sisel Skinny Peppermint Mocha

This a relatively low-calorie hot drink for winter. Calories are reduced by using non-fat milk. You might like to use Almond milk if you are lactose intolerant. The boost of intense minty flavour in this mocha is balanced out by dark chocolate syrup and nonfat milk.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup of Sisel Kaffe Coffee
2 drops peppermint extract
1/3 c. nonfat milk (or use almond milk)
2 tbsp. dark chocolate syrup

Directions:
Mix one sachet of Sisel Black Instant Coffee with boiling water (preferably filtered water). To release the full flavour of the Sisel’s famous Panamanian Boquete Gesha coffee bean (Kaffe) allow it to steep for few minutes.  Then pour into a mug. Stir peppermint extract and chocolate syrup into the coffee. Taste and adjust to your liking. Stir in nonfat or almond milk.

Sisel Hot Cinnamon Coffee

When plain black coffee just doesn’t cut it, enjoy a generous infusion of ground cinnamon. The aromatic spice is high in fibre, calcium, and iron. Plus, it adds so much flavour that you may not need to add sugar. Why not try it without the sugar! Cinnamon is great sugar replacement.

Ingredients:
1 c. coffee
2 tbsp. ground cinnamon
2 tbsp. nonfat milk (or almond milk)
1 tsp. brown sugar, if desired

Directions:
Mix one sachet of Sisel Black Instant Coffee with boiling water (preferably filtered water). To release the full flavour of the Sisel’s famous Panamanian Boquete Gesha coffee bean (Kaffe) allow it to steep.

After the few minutes pour into a mug. Mix in cinnamon and milk. Adjust to your liking. Add brown sugar if desired. Cut the sugar, to reduce calories. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

Makes one serving.
